Creative Communication and Presentation Skills Coach
Karen’s expertise lies in coaching people to explore different approaches to how they present their messages, whether they're writing words on the page or speaking to a live audience. She helps people develop an effective preparation process; deal with their vulnerability in front of audiences; structure messages creatively and persuasively; and make the impact they want.
Currently, Karen works mainly with Senior Executives who view communication as an essential element of their leadership role. Since 1997, she has tutored groups and individuals in areas such as: influencing, presentation skills, facilitation skills, personal impact, storytelling, creativity, team-building and leadership. She is also accredited in Prism psychometric profiling.
As well as working directly with clients, Karen is an Associate Tutor at London Business School and Said Business School, Oxford. She is also an Associate Consultant at the Centre of Charity Effectiveness, Cass Business School.
Karen’s approach to communication and presentation is deeply rooted in her practice as an artist. As well as working in training, Karen writes, designs and performs for the award-winning theatre company, Wishbone www.wishbonetheatre.org.uk, of which she is co-founder.
Karen read Classics at Cambridge University and trained as an actor at Mountview.
