in the WorkPlace
Research has shown that we are distracted 47% of the time. Training our minds to pay attention to the present moment and to be more aware of our internal experience increases productivity, effectiveness, wellbeing and performance.
With mindfulness you get better outcomes, increased engagement and reclaim the lost half of your life.
In todays VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) world, it is easy to get overwhelmed and distracted in life and in work. Our busy days join into busy months, and frantic years and in all this busyness are we really at our best? Are we fully enjoying our experience of living and noticing what is happening in the present moment?
Paying attention to the present moment and observing your own thoughts, feelings and physical sensations - often termed mindfulness - can improve your effectiveness and your wellbeing.

Mindfulness in the WorkPlace for...
A wealth of recent studies have reported the specific business benefits of mindfulness within organisations, including:
- Enhanced employer/employee and client relationships
- Improved cognitive function - (i.e. better concentration, learning ability and memory)
- Increased productivity
- Reduced costs of staff absenteeism
- Enhanced employee job satisfaction
By increasing our awareness of our thoughts and feelings and observing them with out critical judgement we experience a greater sense of self-control and choice. This increased awareness allows us to choose to behave in a way that is aligned to what we intend to do, to be and to achieve.
The Mind and Body Medical Institute at Harvard University reports that mindfulness enhances the qualities companies need most from their workforce:
- Increased brain activity in areas that increase performance and emotional regulation
- Enhanced intuition
- Improved emotional intelligence
- Increased focus and concentration
- Positive results in executive performance
- Employee engagement
- Employee retention and bottom-line results
We deliver Workplace Mindfulness Training in a practical way. We provide a 90-minute taster session for up to 40 people where employees will learn about mindfulness, the effects of stress on your body and mind and experience how mindfulness can build resilience, reduce stress and improve effectiveness.
We deliver a mind training programme that has significant impact in just 1 hour a week for 6 weeks*. This research based programme designed by TME in conjunction with Oxford University’s Centre for Mindfulness can be delivered in any workplace meeting room and can be delivered as a before work, lunchtime or afterword session if this is more suitable for your needs.
*With home practice in between sessions.

"The course was a truly life changing experience! It has completely changed the way I think on a day to day basis, meaning I deal with stress more effectively and have a much clearer mind which in turn helps me be more creative and productive" - Mark S
